Love Triangle

The wind was blowing
you were crying out
we rushed together
forced your faded shout

The night was eerie
cold in the heat
chills trickled the skin
as we all admitted defeat

Your soul crying
for what you seen in your eye
Your heart stained black
from your revenged goodbye

What we wouldn't give
for that one last night
to rethink the words
force them out right

Take the evil
twist it to good of pure
forget the anger
we all had to endure

Forget the swaying tree
that left the frightening shadow
the breeze that took you away
in the midnight glow

Let us have the chance
to speak in your dark sight
give us back that one moment
so we can make it right

The sky is black
we can still hear your screams
there are still arms around us
when you haunt our dreams

If we could just go back
take all your hurt away
make you grasp the air
you let falter away

We are wrapped in our skin
begging for release
Sweat mixes with tears
as you're laid in peace

Your voice still roars
we carry it in our pore
we've tried to shake the beast
until our battered arms are sore

You ride that beast
that now is our nightmare
you left in body
but your anger is still there

Leave your heavenly tread
on the hearts who betrayed
leave them no peace to breathe
in the same sheet where you laid

We can't say goodbye

the beast will take us
like he did you too

My world is raptured with pleasure

Why did you leave?
Why were you weak
How will I live
in the emptiness we used to seek

Why with one shot
did you say goodbye
left me with these
tired and ugly eye

Why with our last word
was it so easy
to leave this world
leave the sight of me

Why is it you chose
to take your own breath
leave us with stained
memories of your death

Why did you fail
fail to see all you had
you still had the hope
of friend, family and dad

Why did you leave
leave me alone in this soul
I want to yell and scream at you
you abandoning asshole

anything to get you
back to me
